David brings his extensive knowledge and experience to the customers he serves.
David not only has a license to perform general pest control, he is also a valued member of Killroy's Termite Department, and he holds a license that enables him to work in that specialized area of our industry.

When the Rain Comes, Your Killroy Service Still Needs to be Done!
It has been great to see the rain and snowpack increasing after going through the past four years of underwhelming precipitation. We seem to be above normal in most locations throughout the state. Hopefully this trend will continue with a pace that does not lead to flooding and landslides, but does greatly restore our reservoirs and water storage systems.
A byproduct of this welcomed "wet weather" comes the renewed growth of unwanted weeds. As these continue to grow, they will lead to potential fire hazards come spring and summer. Killroy can help you with its Winter Weed Program. Whether it is to clear a fence line, create a firebreak, or to clean turf and landscapes of unwanted weeds, Killroy can help to control these nasty invasive pests!
With our pre-emergent application, we can prevent weed growth in designated areas; whereas our post-emergent, and selective weed management programs, can tackle existing weeds as well as specific weeds in turf and landscape areas. Please see our video on Facebook (see below). In this video, Ken Macedo, our weed and tree specialist, is interviewed by Steve @ Killroy about our services in greater detail. (Please Like us on Facebook!) You can always find out additional information on this topic as well as our other pest specific services here on our website.

Don't worry if you are one of our many general pest management customers. First of all we want to thank you for your continued business and support. In most cases, you are part of a year-round program. Even if the weather is poor, our service can be extremely important and beneficial. Rodents, ants, spiders and oriental roaches, are especially looking for drier, warmer areas to inhabit, such as your home or business. During the wetter months, your Killroy Pest Management Professional will carefully inspect and apply the proper materials around all of the entry points of your property, using "Crack and Crevice" application protocols.
Ants commonly enter your homes through ventilation screens and around improperly sealed doors and windows. If the structure is on a raised foundation, the foundation vents will be treated.
Spiders will tend to build up under the eaves and enter through the sub-areas, as well as around windows and doors. These areas will be inspected, addressed with a webster brush to remove webs, and then applications of effective materials will be performed. This is the perfect time to have your garage treated!
In the yard, pest harborages in cracks, crevices, eave drip line areas (that are often dry even in the wettest conditions) and fence lines will be inspected and treated. Sometimes the use of granular materials or baits - that can't be washed away - will be used for ants, earwigs, and soil insects. These services will greatly protect your property from unwanted guests.
Always remember that your service is guaranteed in-between regular services. Our materials will still be effective in wet weather and are an integral part of our overall pest management program. If at any time you
discover an incursion of "invaders", please call us and let us know. We will gladly return as soon as possible.
An Ounce of Prevention...
This is the time of year — with periods of hard rain coming down ‐ that there could be potential problems taking place under your home. Standing water, fungus damage, and subterranean termites could be lurking.
An inspection is your best safeguard against current as well as potential problems that could end up being very costly to repair or replace. We can give you helpful suggestions that can help to remedy these concerns. Diverting accumulative water via French drains, sump pumps, or other hydro methods can possibly help to prevent more serious problems.
Give our office a call, and we can schedule an inspection service that can help to put your mind at ease.
Killroy Celebrates 60 Years!!
It is with great pride and gratitude that we announce the 60th anniversary of Killroy Pest Control! Starting from scratch back on April 14,1956, Killroy has grown to serving a base of over 10,000 highly valued customers!
This is due in great part because of our wonderful staff of technicians, administrative and managerial personnel. It is also because of the base values set in place by Killroy's founders, Phil and Norma Olavarri, past ownership and employees. Mission statements of "Service First", and the dedication of everyone here at Killroy, past and present, to provide our customers with a high standard of service with a personal touch, can only be found in a local, family owned business.
The other key factor in our success is because of YOU, our customers. Many of you have been with us so long that we consider you, not only customers, but friends as well. We have watched your families grow. Many of your children have become parents themselves, and have continued to use Killroy for their homes and businesses. We want to take time to reflect and thank all of you for your continued support!
