Our Killroy Family is Growing!
It is with great excitement that Killroy finds that its ranks have been growing lately.
Starting with two new wonderful additions to our administrative staff, we have Monica Alvarez and Marisol Barahona. When they answer the phone, you will notice right away their professional and pleasant manner while assisting you with your questions and service requests.
Rick O’Hara has joined our ranks as the new Willow Glen route technician, and he has become very popular with his customers with his thorough service and friendly nature.
Over 20 years ago we were groundbreaking in the development of our Sensitive Solutions Division, offering alternative methods and green approaches to pest control. We recently added Lauren Kersten to the Sensitive Solutions ranks. She comes to us with a degree in Environmental Science from UCSC, and has recently accredited Killroy and Sensitive Solutions with the Bio-Integral Resource Center's (BIRC) IPM Certification.
Dealing with gophers, moles, ground squirrels, voles, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and other pests is specialized work. It requires licensing by California Fish and Game along with the expertise, patience, and follow-up skills needed to be successful at this type of work. We felt this type of work required a specialist. We started "hunting" for our own Wildlife Management Specialist, and "snared" Tony Roberson. Tony comes to us with a background as a rancher, heavy equipment operator, and professional cowboy. Growing up and operating a working ranch taught Tony how to deal with the wiles and ways of such critters. He has become an expert trapper, and can assist our customers with all of their wildlife management needs.
Our most recent addition is Forrest Baldwin. Forrest is a United States Air Force veteran, and is currently assisting with our specialty weed and tree work, as well as helping the other technicians when they need an extra pair of eyes and hands. He also spends his free time as a music producer and recording engineer.
This is an exciting time here at Killroy as the company continues to grow, and the legacy started by our founders continues into the future.
If you have any questions regarding your home or garden, just give Killroy a call, or fill out our service request form.

The San Jose Giants baseball team!
Killroy, the official pest control provider
We are proud to announce that Killroy Pest Control is the official pest control provider to the San Jose Giants baseball team!! The San Jose Giants have a long 22 year history as a Class A-Advanced team in the Northern Division of the California League, and a farm team for their "Big Brother" club, the San Francisco Giants.
The team's creative marketing staff have come up with a fun pre-game event called, "Exterminate The Plate". This is when a community youth dons a Killroy Pest Control cap and jersey, and helps Gigante, the team mascot, make sure there is no bad "karma" anywhere near the plate. They use their special duster to chase away the effectiveness of any visiting team's nasty curve pitches, or change ups.
This is the type of partnership that Killroy is so very proud to be a part of. The Giants organization is all about bringing a wholesome, quality product to the community. They participate in over 200 community events annually, and donate items in support of a variety of fundraising efforts. It makes it easy to want to be "teammates" with the Giants.
If you have a chance to go to a game, you would be providing yourself and your family with a wonderful experience. This is where you get a chance to see the up and coming talent in the organization. These young players are well on their journey to the Majors, and you can tell your friends you "saw them when". Also, with the club's proximity to the "Big Show" up the Peninsula, you often have the opportunity to see some of the San Francisco Giants when they are coming back from an injury, and need to play a few rehab games. There is also the chance you might see Brian Sabean, the SF Giants General Manager, down on the farm, checking out the progress of some of their new, young talent.
Needless to say, the food is second to none, and the atmosphere is one where you can feel comfortable bringing the kids, and the price won’t break your wallet either!
When you go, look for our Class A technician out there as they "Exterminate the Plate", and look for Killroy’s banner on the fence by first base. Also, check out the fun facts in the 2014 Giants Souvenir Program and our name in the Giant's Score Card.
An application of Moisture Manager can reduce your lawn's water usage by up to 50 percent! Eliminate dry spots, and protect your lawn from stress and disease!
