Several species of wood destroying beetles occur in our area. These include True Powderpost Beetles, (Lictus spp.), False Powderpost Beetles, (family Bostrichidae), Deathwatch or Furniture Beetles (Aniobiidae), Flatheaded and Roundheaded Borers.
